KUTHI
Street performance. Engineering and stunning wooden mechanisms.
Kuth - the embodiment of the Raven spirit, a key figure in the creation of the world, the progenitor of mankind, a powerful shaman.
After a kind of carnivorous silence. Who loudly shouted: "Kuthi"! And everything became clear.
The plot.
The wedding of the king's daughter is the most important event in the castle, yet in the midst of the fun, the kuthis, or ancient raven warriors, start to attack the castle ....

During this show, spectators will see siege weapons, catapults, trickery of the defenders and treachery of the enemies. The ending is completely unpredictable.

The castle is home to a huge number of secrets, sliding walls, moving parts, secret rooms and strange inhabitants.

A true medieval Gothic atmosphere is guaranteed and mysteries and magic are supported by nerve- wracking musical accompaniment.

Our play "Kutkhi" is also a game, where father and son, crows and castle knights, dragon and elephants are fighting on stage and in real life. We suppose that every boy dreams of playing toy soldiers with his father, and his father secretly dreams of winning. And we invite you to play with us!

At the end of the story, the audience is invited to explore the mechanisms, while we will reveal a few engineering secrets. They can give a try, touch, or even live the life of the main characters by themselves.

Who are we?
We are an artist-experimentalist family from St. Petersburg.
Sasha is 36 years old - an artist and an engineer. It was him, who developed the idea of a mechanical performance.
Serafima is 31 years old- she is an artist and a producer.
Luke is 12 years old and he is the heart of the project!
Together we are also actors, directors, property masters, travelers and dreamers.

"Kutkhi" is a street performance. It differs from other performances of a similar genre due to its engineering concept, as well as its amazing wooden mechanisms. Traditionally, street performances are created without complex stage scenery and mechanics. However, we have firmly decided to break away from thistradition.
Street performance means freedom from theatrical spaces, stage sizes, tickets, seats, and age restrictions. All that we ever wanted was just to create a small miracle that can be seen by any person, any ordinary passer-by. We`d try to enchant our viewer and bring him into our wonderful world of mechanical stories.
